Requiem

Light a candle, let it burn
And in this sacred place sojourn
I have left this world at peace
So have your eyes their crying cease.
Think of me when I was small

Though far away and sadly missed

I will be there every day
If you remember in some small way
The way I smiled with my eyes
Or my softly sounding summer sighs
And thought it was my time to go
